TEB GRUP COOPERATIU – TCOLORS, Winner of the 6th Zubizarreta Legacy Award
We are proud to announce that TEB GRUP COOPERATIU – TCOLORS has been honored with the 6th Zubizarreta Legacy Award, annual recognition presented by IMCOINSA to honor organizations that include social commitment into their management and values such as effort, responsibility, and business ethics.
A Unique Edition: A Manufacturer with Social Soul
This sixth edition has a special feature: for the first time, the award has been given to a manufacturer - manufacturer of the sector - rather than to an industrial or construction supplier company as in the previous five editions.
The jury, formed by three specialist media organisations from the sector, the winner of the previous edition and IMCOINSA itself, has given the award to TEB GRUP COOPERATIU – TCOLORS, whose proposal stands out for turning paint manufacturing into a tool for social and employment inclusion.
Its cooperative model creates jobs and provides services for people with intellectual disabilities (more than 1,300 families), promotes training and reinvests its profits in projects with real impact. It demonstrates that industry can be competitive, sustainable and deeply human.
The selection of TEB–TCOLORS, whose social responsibility is fully in line with the values that inspire the award, highlights that social responsibility can arise at any stage of the value chain, and that industry can also be a driving force for inclusion and progress.

Xavier Tendero, accompanied by Davide Menini, explains the characteristics of the cooperative to Fernando Zubero and Carlos García during their visit to the TCOLORS branch
TCOLORS: industry, inclusion and colour
TCOLORS is a paint brand supported by Grup Cooperatiu TEB, a leading organisation in the social and employment inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. TCOLORS manufactures paints and coatings with professional-grade quality standards, but its true value rests in its social model:
People at the center: its industrial activity is designed to generate inclusive employment and real development opportunities.
Responsible innovation: its production processes incorporate criteria relating to sustainability, safety and accessibility.
Direct social impact: profits are reinvested in projects promoting inclusion, training and support.
Professional quality: its products compete effectively in the market, demonstrating that industrial excellence is compatible with a social purpose.
TCOLORS, whose slogan is “TCOLORS the paint that changes everything”, turns paint manufacturing into a tool for social transformation.

The ‘Gizona’ sculpture, Zubizarreta special series, a symbol of recognition
The prize, worth 3.000€, is handed out with the sculpture Gizona (‘man’ in Basque), crafted by the Basque artist Aitor Ruiz de Egino. Its meaning is directly linked to the philosophy of the prize and to TEB–TCOLORS’ social approach: the individual as the focal point of all activity.
A legacy that continues growing
IMCOINSA suggests to the award-winning organisation that the prize money could be assigned, in whole or in part, to one of the projects the organisation is carrying out as part of its social responsibility policy: the environment, community engagement, inclusion, etc. This gesture creates a ‘snowball effect’, rewarding companies that already invest in CSR and encouraging them to continue doing so, thereby strengthening a value chain that benefits both the sector and society.
Therefore, the award not only recognises, but also stimulates and promotes new initiatives.
A leader in CSR within the sector
With this recognition, TEB–TCOLORS joins the companies that have been honoured in previous years, reinforcing an award that recognises businesses which demonstrate that social responsibility and professional excellence can go together, being both responsible and competitive.
